SisFrance provides you with the means to access:
- the catalogue of earthquakes in chronological order (and search on a year),
- the catalogue of earthquakes in order of intensity (and search on a year),
- the catalogue of earthquakes felt in French Departments,
- the catalogue of earthquakes felt in local districts,
- the catalogue of epicentres in French Departments,
- the catalogue of doubtful earthquakes and false earthquakes,
- the map of epicentres centred on French Departments,
- the map of epicentres centred on local districts.

Access to the list of earthquakes felt in French Departments or local districts:
- Department: select the Department you want by clicking on the map on the Home page. Confirm with the relative tab,
- Local district: select the Department you want by clicking on the map on the home page, then select the local district you want in the relevant drop-down menu. Confirm.

Access the list of earthquakes having their epicentre in French Departments:
- select the Department you want by clicking on the map on the home page for the list of epicentres menu. Confirm with the relevant tab.

Access to the maps of epicentres by French Department or by local district:
- Department: select the Department you want by clicking on the map on the home page. Confirm with the relevant tab (on the right),
- Local district: select the Department you want by clicking on the map on the home page, then select the local district you want in the relevant drop-down menu. Confirm,
- Epicentre: to find out the identity of an epicentre on the map, click on the symbol with the information button.

Access to an earthquake's characteristics (description sheet), select the relevant tabs:
- for the macro-seismic map for the earthquake (intensity distribution),
- for the list of observations for the earthquake (locations listed),
- for the bibliography and the digitised documents for the earthquake,
- for the relevant isoseismal map (for the biggest earthquakes).
