Data description

SisFrance is the national historic seismicity database for France. It gathers together all the macro-seismic characteristics of the earthquakes felt in France: date, time, name, region, areas concerned by the effects of the tremor and related intensities, epicentre, epicentre co-ordinates and intensity, bibliography, macro-seismic maps, isoseismal maps and digital archives.

SisFrance corresponds to the state of knowledge at time T which can be modified by updates. The data provided has no contractual value and is based on advice from consultants from the EDF, IRSN and BRGM.
